Our Story
My passion for boas, particularly the stunning albino boa, began in the late 1990s when I saw my first one in person. That moment stuck with me. In 2003, I purchased my first boa constrictor, but military service took me down a different path and made it impossible to keep her long-term.
I served 20 years as a U.S. Navy Seabee, including deployment in Operation Enduring Freedom. During the final years of my service, I found myself in a position to get back into boas and returned to the hobby in late 2015.
What started as keeping quickly turned into a desire to breed. After seeing some incredible boa constrictors and realizing they were out of reach, I made a decision:
I can make those.
That decision became the foundation of Diamond Boas. The name comes from a boa my wife and I purchased together named Diamond, whose side pattern carried the kind of sharp, clean diamonds that stood out immediately. He became the namesake for what would grow into something much bigger.
Today, Diamond Boas is built on discipline, patience, and purpose. Every pairing is intentional, focusing on health, structure, temperament, and visual quality. No shortcuts, no quantity-over-quality mindset, just a commitment to producing exceptional animals.
